Welcome to Lonsdale Pet Hospital, where we believe in going the extra mile to ensure the safety and well-being of your cherished pets. Our Pet Permanent Identification service is designed to offer you peace of mind by providing a reliable and secure means of identifying your furry family members. With years of dedicated service to the North Vancouver community, we understand the importance of permanent identification in reuniting lost pets with their loving families.
Losing a pet can be a distressing experience, and unfortunately, it can happen to even the most vigilant pet owners. Permanent identification offers a lifeline in these situations, significantly increasing the chances of a happy reunion. Unlike collars or tags that can be lost or removed, a permanent identification method ensures that your pet’s crucial information is always accessible.
At Lonsdale Pet Hospital, we offer a range of reliable and safe permanent identification options for your pets. These include:
This involves the implantation of a tiny, passive chip beneath your pet’s skin. Each chip contains a unique identification number that can be read with a scanner. This number is linked to your contact information in a secure database, making it easy for veterinary clinics, shelters, and animal control officers to reunite you with your pet.
Tattoos provide a visible and permanent form of identification. A unique identification number is tattooed onto your pet’s ear or inner thigh. This number is registered in a national database, ensuring that it can be traced back to you if your pet goes missing.
